On September 6, an auction was held for sales of commercial space in New Delhi by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). It is situated at WTC Nauroji Nagar in New Delhi. National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), a Government of India (GOI) enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs India, has requested the company to deposit the instalment.

The second instalment must be paid within 72 hours of the closing of the e-auction, and in case there will be a Sunday or bank holiday, the payment should be deposited on the next working day. This payment should be deposited in a separate account, the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs account. IRCTC has to provide online railway services, packaged drinking water at railway stations and trains in India, and also provide catering services to railways. As June ended, the stake of the Government of India held 67.4 per cent.
In the first quarter of FY23, the net profit of IRCTC surged to Rs 245.52 crore as compared with the first quarter of FY22, Rs 82.52 crore. The net sales have zoomed to Rs 852.59 crore in Q1FY23 and over Rs 243.37 crore in Q1FY22. On BSE, the IRCTC’s shares rose by 0.69 per cent to Rs 711.50.
