Prop-tech startup Inkers Technology has secured $3 million in a Series A funding round led by Ashish Kasholia of Lucky Investments.
The Bengaluru-based firm had earlier raised $2.03 million from Sailing Stones Technologies and other investors. The newly acquired funds will be directed toward expanding its market presence and enhancing its product portfolio, the company stated in a press release.
Founded by Rohan Shravan, Manish Giri, and Srikanth Kannada, Inkers is focused on transforming the construction industry through digital innovation. Its solutions address critical challenges and support sustainable growth in infrastructure projects within India and internationally. Utilizing advanced technologies such as computer vision, deep neural networks, hardware acceleration, and specialized frequency domain encoders, Inkers offers an integrated video processing pipeline to optimize data analysis.
Inkers’ flagship product, Observance, is an AI-powered platform that processes complex construction data into actionable insights into point cloud data, images, BIM models, and project schedules. The platform facilitates rapid and accurate conversion into Building Information Modeling (BIM), helping construction teams preemptively address potential challenges, improve workflows, and achieve substantial time and cost efficiencies.
Observance delivers precise as-built 3D models enriched with thermal maps, enabling swift resolution of BIM conflicts, real-time construction progress updates, and early detection of structural issues. The platform can scan up to 100,000 square feet of construction area per hour and generate detailed analytics, as-built models, defect reports, and schedule updates within 24–48 hours.
The company claims its solution has been deployed at over 150 sites across Bangalore, NCR, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad, scanning more than 250 million square feet of construction space and processing over 2 petabytes of data.
