Infosys, the second largest software services firm has unveiled a 6.6 MW capacity solar PV power plant at its Pocharam campus in Telangana.
Infosys said in a statement that with this launch, combined with the existing 0.6 MW rooftop solar plant, the Pocharam campuses in India to be run completely by renewable energy.
It further added that the plant, with a total capacity of 7.2 MW has been synchronized with the grid and is expected to generate 12 million kWh per annum.
