Infosys, the second largest software services firm of the country has bought a minority stake in the data discovery software firm Waterline Data Science for USD 4 million (about Rs 27.23 crore).
Infosys has said in a BSE filing that all the cash transaction will be completed by February 4, 2016.
Ritika Suri, the Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Infosys said that “We see a need for automated data discovery solutions like Waterline Data Science in helping our clients achieve greater business value from their Big Data assets.”
