According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on September 6, the Indian government agreed to start talks on a comprehensive bilateral economic partnership deal with Bangladesh shortly. Following their discussion, PM Modi announced that India and Bangladesh would expand their cooperation in information technology, space exploration, and nuclear energy.
PM Modi remarked, “India is Bangladesh’s largest export market in all of Asia. We will start discussing a bilateral economic comprehensive cooperation deal to speed up this development further.”
He continued by saying, “Bangladesh is India’s largest trade and development partner in the area. The inter-human interaction is constantly getting better.”
“India and Bangladesh’s trade is expanding quickly. We have chosen to expand our collaboration in the nuclear, space, and IT industries. Also, India and Bangladesh are discussing power transmission lines, ” he added.
In his speech, Prime Minister Modi underscored the need to learn from the Covid epidemic, current global events, and the necessity of bolstering the economies of both countries.
