Infosys, the second largest software service firm of the country, has appointed Inderpreet Sawhney, a former Wipro executive as its group general counsel.
Infosys said in a statement that the appointment is effective from July 3, 2017.
Inderpreet has been the General Counsel in Wipro and prior to that she served as Managing Partner of a midsized law firm in Silicon Valley and has also worked with ITC Limited as in-house counsel.
The company has also announced that Gopi Krishnan Radhakrishnan, who was the acting General Counsel of Infosys, will be leaving the company later this month to pursue other opportunities.
