IFCI, the infrastructure lender has sold about 0.5 percent stake in NSE for Rs 89.
According a regulatory filing by IFCI, it has sold 2.25 lakh shares, or a 0.5 percent stake, in the stock exchange at a price of Rs 3,950 apiece.
IFCI, at that price fetched Rs 88.8 crore from the buyers whose name was not disclosed by the seller.
However, selling of remaining 3.05 percent stake in NSE has been put on hold by IFCI and the reason for this has not been attributed by it.
