On Monday, the private lender ICICI Bank has posted 2.4 percent year-on-year growth in its standalone net profit at Rs 3,102 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 3,030.11 crore of the corresponding quarter of last year.
The gross non-performing assets (NPAs) for the quarter stood at 6.82 percent as against 5.87 percent in the June quarter.
The net non-performing assets (NPA) of the bank increased to 3.57 percent from 3.35 percent.
The provisions for bad loans has shot up sharply by 652 percent to Rs 7,083 crore on yearly basis and increased 182 percent sequentially.
