ICICI Bank has been planning to raise funds through bonds in the next three months for the purpose of funding the business expansion.
The amount has not been specified by the bank that it intends to raise through bonds.
It has said in a regulatory filing that the bank proposes “fund raising in single or multiple tranches in any currency through public or private placement by way of issuances of debt instruments for remaining period of 2016-17”.
