Hyundai Motor India has reported 2.6 per cent rise in the total sales at 51,505 units in April.
Last year in the same time period the company had sold 50,222 units, the company said in a statement.
Hyundai in the domestic market sold 38,601 units in the last month as compared to 35,248 units in April 2014, up 9.5 per cent.
Whereas the exports of the company has declined by 13.8 per cent to 12,904 units as against 14,974 units of last year.
The senior vice-president (sales and marketing) of HMIL Rakesh Srivastava said: “Hyundai with a volume of 38,601 units continued the growth momentum with 9.5 percent increase over last year on the strength of strong and young product portfolio led by 12,425 units of Elite i20 and i20 Active in a challenging market conditions especially in the rural market.”
