Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), has reported 22.59% YoY increase in profit at Rs.1,949.69 crore for the quarter ended December 31,2017.
The company in the corresponding quarter, last year has posted a profit of Rs.1,590.31 crore. Total income of the company increased 13.83% YoY to Rs.63,550.47 crore during the quarter under review.
Average gross refining margin during the nine-month period ended December 31,2017 stood at $7.51 per barrel, as against $5.57 per barrel during the year ago quarter. Furthermore, the board at its meeting held on February 9 also declared an interim dividend of Rs.14.50 per equity share.
