Hindalco Industries Ltd (HIL) has lost 5.68 per cent over September, compared to a 3.06 per cent fall in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 5.08 per cent drop in the SENSEX.
On Thursday, HIL gained 2.96 per cent to trade at Rs 411.8. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 0.78 per cent. The index is down 3.06 per cent over September month. Other Stocks are National Aluminium Company Ltd increased by 2.41 per cent, and Vedanta Ltd added 1.41 per cent today. The S&P, BSE Metal index went down 11.32 per cent in 2021 compared to the 5.34 per cent fall in the benchmark SENSEX.

On the BSE, 13005 shares were traded compared to daily average volumes of 6.03 lakh shares in September. On 29 March 2022, the stock hit a record high of Rs 636; in June 2021, the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 309.
