Hindalco Industries Ltd has lost 12.99 per cent over August month as compared to a 7.43 per cent fall in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 5.5 per cent drop in the SENSEX
On Friday, HIL gained 2.84 per cent to trade at Rs 381.95. The S&P BSE Metal index, is up 1.1 per cent to quote at 17741.56. The index is down 7.43 per cent over August month. Some other indexes are National Aluminium Company Ltd increased by 2.43 per cent, and Vedanta Ltd added 2.08 per cent. The S&P BSE Metal index, went down 12.09 per cent in 2021 compared to the 4.84 per cent fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Hindalco Industries Ltd has lost 12.99 per cent over August compared to a 7.43 per cent fall in the S&P BSE Metal index and a 5.5 per cent drop in the SENSEX. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 38746 shares were traded compared to daily average volumes of 5.29 lakh in August. On 29 March 2022, the stock hit a record high of Rs 636, and the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 309 on 20 June 2022.
