On 17 November 2022, HFCL announced export orders worth Rs 86.23 crore from renowned European telecom solution providers for supplying optical fibre cables. Till February 2023, orders are to be executed.

The company has to engage in a diverse telecom infrastructure with system integration, active interest in telecom infrastructure development and manufacture, Optic Fibre and Optic Fibre Cable (OFC) and supply of high-end telecom equipment.
The company’s net profit hit a high of Rs 81.86 crore on a 4.6% rise in net sales to Rs 1,173.47 crore in the second quarter of FY23 over the second quarter of FY22. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the scrip fell by 1.06% at Rs 79.65.
