A warning letter has been issued by the US health regulator to Hetero Labs for significant violations of good manufacturing norms at its facility in Jadcherla in Telangana.
The United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) said that the issue that were raised include failure to clean, maintain, sanitise and sterilise equipment and utensils at appropriate intervals used for manufacturing of drugs at the facility.
The investigators of USFDA had inspected the company’s drug manufacturing facility on December 7-16, 2016.
