Hero Motocorp Ltd shares were trading 2% above on 5 October after the company received 13,688 bookings for its new flagship Karizma SXR bike.
The company said in its exchange filing on 4 October that the dispatches of the Karizma XMR to Hero MotoCorp Dealerships for customer deliveries will begin in the festival period this month.
Ranjivjit Singh, chief business officer of Hero MotoCorp, said, “We are committed to delivering an exceptional premium riding experience to every Karizma owner and are confident of adding cheer to the upcoming festive season.”
The bike has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1,72,900.
The company has also informed the bonuses that they will marginally increase the ex-showroom price of select scooters and motorcycles from 3 October.
The company saw a 3% YoY increase in its sales for September, having sold 5,36,4999 motorcycles.
