Hero MotoCorp is planning to set up manufacturing facilities in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil as a part of its global expansion and also expects to utilise the new Colombian plant as a hub to export to nearby countries.
Pawan Munjal, the Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of Hero MotoCorp said, “Going forward in terms of manufacturing facility, we are looking at some other countries in the region like Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.”
The first global manufacturing facility of Hero MotoCorp at Villa Rica in Colombia, involving a project investment of USD 70 million became operational this week.
