On Thursday, the Housing Finance Development Corp has posted 21.6% decline in the net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 due to profit booked on sale of investments in the corresponding quarter of previous year.
The company has posted profit of Rs 2,044.20 crore against Rs 2,607 crore in the same period of previous year.
The profit was lower as the fourth quarter of previous year included Rs 1,520 crore of profit on sale of investment.
