On Saturday, HDFC Bank will announce its financial results for the quarter that ended June 30, 2022. In the Q4FY22, the bank recorded a 22.8 per cent yearly basis rise in net profit to Rs 10,055.2 crore from Rs 8,186.5 crore in Q4FY21. The fourth quarter net profit was less than the third quarter but more than the other two quarters in the given year.

During the third quarter, the bank’s net profit had reported at Rs 10,342.2 crore. In the first quarter, figures stood at Rs 7,729.6 crore, and in the second quarter, figures stood at Rs 8,843.3 crore.
India’s largest private lender had recorded a 20.8 per cent rise in total advances to Rs 13.69 trillion in Q4FY22 from Rs 11.33 trillion in Q4FY21. Total deposits rose over 16 per cent from Rs 13.35 trillion to Rs 15.59 trillion over the same period.
