In Q3FY23, HDFC (Housing Development Finance Corporation) disbursed loans of Rs 8,892 crore compared to Rs 7,468 crore in the same period last year, an increase of 19% year-on-year.
Gross loans sold in the first 12 months stood at Rs 35,937 crore, while total loans sold stood at Rs 27,591 crore, up 30% year-on-year. Under the buyback option in the home loan agreement between Corporation and HDFC Bank, the bank said housing financier.
The company’s total dividend income of Rs 482 crore for the quarter that ended December 31, 2022, was 2.5 times higher than the Rs 195 crore for the quarter that ended December 31, 2021.

On the standalone basis, the net profit jumps at 17.82% to Rs 4,454.24 crore on a 22.98% rose in total income to Rs 15,035.99 crore in July- September quarter of FY23 over the July- September quarter of FY22.
