In a bid to help enterprises with multi-cloud management and app modernisation, Indian IT services major HCL Technologies has introduced a dedicated VMware business unit. VMware is a US-based major cloud computing company which, among other things, specialises in providing a platform for the virtualisation of IT infrastructure.
This newly launched unit integrates HCL’s CloudSmart framework and VMware’s cross-cloud services to ensure enterprise-scale cloud-native platform operations, accelerate cloud transformation, and empower hybrid workforces.
This new unit of HCL is part of its Strategic Alliance Partner Ecosystem, leveraging CloudSmart Framework to provide multi-cloud and app modernisation solutions. The macroeconomic environment requires ecosystems to collaborate to provide the industry’s creative and efficient solutions.
As HCL aims to assist enterprises in pursuing the path of digital dominance, it has developed infrastructure for training more than 8,000 professionals in VMware technologies. HCL Technologies also manages three VMware centres of excellence and has created four cloud-native labs.
