Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. now has a larger interest thanks to SBI Mutual Fund. The mutual fund division of the State Bank of India (SBI) purchased 15,20,000 new company shares from the open market on September 6, 2022, according to information about bulk sales publicly available on the BSE and NSE. The mutual fund company purchased these shares for $987.80 each. SBI Mutual Fund has put $1,50,14,56,000, or around Rs 150 crores, into this agricultural stock. Additionally, Sundaram Mutual Fund invested about Rs 118 crore in the business by purchasing 12 lakh shares.
The agro stock has been in an upward trend continuously since the news broke that these mutual funds were purchasing stock in Hatsun Agro Product Ltd. This agricultural share has increased by almost 13 per cent over the past four days, going from levels around $988 per share to levels around $1117 per share.
According to information in stock market exchange filings, SBI Mutual Fund has disclosed that it has acquired Rs15.2 lakh additional shares of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd., bringing its net shareholding in the company’s equity to 12,111,562 shares, or 5.6186 per cent of the company’s total paid-up capital.
