Greenko Group, one of India’s Leading energy evolution corporations, would be participating in 10,000 crores to fix up a Pumped Storage Project (PSP) near Gandhi Sagar in Neemuch District of Madhya Pradesh, the company said in a statement.
The project will be set up near Gandhi Sagar in the Neemuch district with a daily stowage capacity of 11 GWh. The infirm renewable electricity deposited in the PSP project throughout lean demand hours shall be later dispatched to benefit and meet the state’s developing peak power demand, thus consequential in substantial cost savings. Besides, the PSP project shall also empower the Madhya Pradesh state to meet its constitutional RPO (Renewable Power Obligation) and the recently informed ESO (Energy Storage Obligation) goals.

The project is predictable to afford employment to completed 4,000 people. Greenko currently functions over 500 MW wind and solar dimensions across five districts of Madhya Pradesh. Greenko’s PSP is anticipated to be custom-built by December 2024 and associated with the ISTS Network.
