Government has started the process of selling 15 percent stake in NBCC and has invited merchant bankers for managing the share sale.

The government will be appointing three merchant bankers for the share issue, that could fetch about Rs 2,200 crore to the exchequer at the current market price.

The Cabinet, earlier this month had cleared 15 percent stake sale of NBCC through an offer for sale (OFS).
