The government has provided its approval for 11 highway projects worth Rs 6,284 crore for various states that includes Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh.
Sanjay Mitra, Road Transport and Highways Secretary said that “The ministry has approved 11 highway projects with a total length of about 453 km and aggregate total capital cost of Rs 6,284 crore.”
He said that from these, nine will be implemented in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, one in BOT (Toll) mode and one in hybrid annuity mode.
