Google’s artificial intelligence lab, DeepMind, has unveiled a new version of its AlphaFold technology called AlphaFold3. 

The AI-led system predicts the behaviour of microscopic mechanisms that drive cells in the human body and could help scientists understand the human body and fight diseases. 

Proteins are microscopic molecules that define how living things behave. AlphaFold3 can predict the shape of proteins and the behaviour of other microscopic biological mechanisms, such as DNA and RNA. 

The new version of AlphaFold3 extends the technology beyond protein folding, and it can predict the behaviour of other microscopic biological mechanisms.

The earlier version of AlphaFold solved the protein folding problem that had eluded scientists for over 50 years. Biologists spent years trying to discover the shape of individual proteins until AlphaFold came along.

The new version of AlphaFold3 promises to streamline the creation of new drugs and vaccines and enable researchers to understand how the machines of the cell interact.

The technology could save months of experimental work and enable research that was previously impossible. 

The company is offering a website where scientists can use AlphaFold3. Other labs offer similar technology, but AlphaFold3 achieves a level of accuracy well beyond the state of the art.

This AI Technology, after combining with other research techniques may also be used to predict Consumers’ Psychology and Behaviour, as a part of behavioural finance.
