Godrej Properties Ltd on Thursday, 23 May announced that they have sold 650 homes that are worth Rs 2,000 crore in the Godrej Jardinia project, situated in Sector 146, Noida, marking the company’s most successful launch In terms of sales value.
Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said, “Noida is an extremely important market for Godrej Properties, and we will look to further strengthen our presence in the city in the years ahead.”
After Godrej Tropical Isle’s success last year, this is the fourth launch in the National Capital Region (NCR) to surpass sales of more than Rs 2,000 crore in a single year.
Sector 146 is a residential area that is growing quickly. It has convenient access to key transportation hubs, entertainment areas, Film City, Jewar Airport, the metro, the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, and the Yamuna Expressway.
In the previous fiscal year, Godrej Properties bought ten land lots outright. With an estimated cost of over Rs 21,000 crore, 8 of those were used to construct housing developments.
To reach the target of over Rs 20,000 crore in sales bookings for the current fiscal year, the corporation plans to buy extra packages. 10 more projects have been added by Godrej Properties, with an expected ultimate booking value of Rs 21,225 crore, the company announced in a recent investor presentation.
For new business growth in the previous fiscal year, the corporation had set a target of Rs 15000 crore. This meant that the whole plot of land had to be purchased, and developing it together with the owners was necessary.
