On Monday, Godrej & Boyce announced that its business Godrej MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Engineering) had been awarded an MEP contract worth Rs 107 crore for the Bangalore International Airport (BLR Airport) project.
In a statement, the flagship company of the Godrej Group said the scope of the project includes the multimodal transport hub (MMTH) to be constructed between Terminals 1 and 2 of BLR Airport, covering approximately 900,000 square feet.
Once Terminal 2 is operational, MMTH will be able to meet current and future needs for people and luggage transportation. “This MMTH is designed to build an enclosed car park and retail development at ground level. With 75km of pipeline and 200km of cable complete, Godrej MEP will deliver the project in less than six months,” the statement added.
