Shares of GMR Airports Infrastructure hit a 52-week high of Rs 72.35 on 11 December after GQG Partners Acquired shares worth Rs 1,671.5 crore.
According to the data given on the exchange, GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity Fund and Goldman Sachs Trust II via Goldman Sachs GQG Partners International Opportunities Fund have acquired a 4.7% stake in the company or 28.29 crore equity shares of the company at an average price of Rs 59.09 per share through an open market transaction.
Nomura India Investment Fund Mother Fund also picked up a 1% stake or 6.25 crore equity shares of the company. Furthermore, Stichting Depositary APG Emerging Markets Equity Pool purchased a 0.56% stake in the company or 3.4 crore equity shares for an average price of Rs 58.20 per share.
Earlier, foreign portfolio investors Varanium India Opportunity, ASN Investments, and A/D Investors Fund LP parted ways with the company by selling their entire personal holdings of 13.9 crore shares at an average price of Rs 58.47 per share, 43.9 crore shares at an average price of Rs 58.21 per share, and 7.56 crore shares at an average price of Rs 58.20 per share respectively.
At 11:15 am, the shares of GMR Airports Infrastructure were trading 3.34% higher at Rs 71.20 on NSE.
