After the company’s net profit of Globus Spirits slumped 8.78 per cent to Rs 734.40, declined 57.9 per cent to Rs 22.1 crore on a 25.7 per cent jump in net revenue from operations to Rs 480.3 crore in the second quarter of FY23 over the second quarter of FY22.
Profit before tax fell 58.8 per cent to Rs 31.6 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared to Rs 76.5 crore in the second quarter of FY22. EBITDA declined 47.4 per cent to Rs 47 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared to Rs 89.3 crore in the second quarter of FY22.
Total expense hit a high at 47.9 per cent yearly basis to Rs 435.4 crore in the second quarter of FY23. Finance costs were up 5.1 per cent to Rs 2.5 crore during the quarter.
