On Thursday, the US auto major Ford Motor Co has confirmed fresh investments for expanding the capacity at its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu.
The company said in a statement that Representatives from Ford and Tamil Nadu government signed a memorandum of understanding at the Global Investor Meet, paving the way for a Ford campus across 28 acres land.
However, the amount of investment and the enhancement in production capacity of the plant have not been disclosed by it.
