Flipkart, as per the filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. has invested over USD 400 million in 4 separate tranches in its logistics arm eKart over the past four months.

According to the documents filed on December 19, Instakart Services Pvt has received 4 separate tranches of investment from Flipkart, amounting to Rs.2,600 crore since September. The latest tranche of Rs.1,200 crore was the largest infusion that Flipkart made in eKart over the past 6 months.

Furthermore, according to filings from October, Flipkart also has separately allocated nearly USD 460 million towards eKart for investments and acquisitions earlier in 2017.
