The content and marketing technology start-up Flickstree has raised USD 5 million in pre-series B round FUNDING led by Venture Catalysts Group. The raised money will be used for global expansion and strengthening Flickstree’s product and technology.
The start-up uses the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create compelling branded video content at scale, at no cost to brands. Brands get videos at no cost; consumers love watching them and buying their products and services. This makes it a win-win platform for all brands globally.
Flickstree’s CEO Saurabh Singh said that customers love watching video content before making transactions. This is the reason content-led commerce is the future of e-commerce. He added that Flickstree’s AI creates great content consumers love watching and transacting.
The platform uses AI voiceover, AI script, and auto-generated branded video content. These videos are distributed through its own apps and websites, such as PlusYou Club, and a network of more than 150 publisher partners, the firm said in a statement.
Flickstree currently has an active client base in India, the Middle East, South-East Asia, the UK, Australia and USA.
The company is also backed by LionRock Capital, FULD & Co, Samsung Ventures, Orbit Startups (SOSV), Lets Venture, AB Claymore, and Angelbay, among others.
