Fitness SaaS platform FitBudd announced on Saturday that it recently raised a $3.4 million seed round from Accel India, Beenext, Sequoia Capital India and Waveform Ventures. The company will use the funds to drive product development, accelerate customer growth, and disrupt the global health and fitness industry with its powerful, innovative products. Fitbudd solves two core problems for its market. It helps coaches better engage and retain clients at scale.
Founded in 2021, FitBudd is the brainchild of three IIT graduates – Saumya Mittal, Pranav Chaturvedi and Naman Singhal. The inspiration behind FitBudd came from the pivotal role personal trainers play in their fitness journey and the daily challenges they see coaches face. Today, FitBudd offers CRM, payments, integrated fitness and nutrition modules, advanced tracking and analytics, interactive chat and video calling capabilities.
FitBudd’s vision is to change global health trends as the company leverages technology to enable health and fitness coaches to help more people worldwide achieve their goals. Today, an average coach can only support 10-15 clients. Using FitBudd, the same trainer can significantly expand their impact without sacrificing quality. Within a year of launch, hundreds of trainers from more than 20 countries are using FitBudd to help tens of thousands of people live healthier lives.
FitBudd was a member of the first cohort of Atoms, an Accel India initiative to support pre-seed startups with easy access to non-dilutive capital, mentorship from founders and operators and a community to help them grow.
