On Friday, Dubai’s Emirates airlines reported a loss of 3.9 billion dirhams ($1.06 billion) for the year ended March 31, down from a 20.3 billion dirham loss a year earlier, as the country eased its ties with the airline. Pandemic-related restrictions have boosted travel demand.
Emirates said it had increased its destinations from 120 at the beginning of the financial year to more than 140 by the end of the year and continued to restore service across its network.
