A part of VE Commercial Vehicles, Eicher Trucks has entered into sub-5 tonne segment in the country by launching Eicher Pro 1049 mini truck.
VE Commercial Vehicles has said in a statement that “With this launch, Eicher Trucks and Buses plans to strengthen its leadership in the light and medium duty segment (LMD) and is aligned with the company’s commitment to user in the future of Indian trucking with next generation products and technologies.”
According to Shyam Maller, VE Commercial Vehicles Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales has said that the sub-5 tonne category has great potential to grow as it addresses the critical last mile connectivity and distribution network.
