Eggoz has raised $3.5 million in a funding round led by NABVENTURES. The round also saw participation from Avaana Capital, Rebright Partners Bellerive Capital and angel investors Sanjiv Rangrass and Indresh Saluja. Founded in 2017 by Abhishek Negi, Uttam Kumar, Aditya Singh, Eggoz procures fresh and chemical-free eggs from farmers and delivers them to retailers within 24 hours of laying. The startup also operates in cities like Allahabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Indore, Patna and Ranchi.
The startup is planning to use these funds in expanding its brand footprint and launching new egg-based products to enter new markets. “We are building a farm to consumer brand that provides superior quality, high bioavailable nutrition and freshness. In the last four years, we expanded our quality model and now we aim for rapid growth,” Abhishek Negi, co-founder of Eggoz said.
