According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) data, the sales of domestic passengers car increased 21.80 percent to 1,94, 158 units in October from 1,59,408 units of the same month a year ago.

Whereas the sales of motorcycles increased 5.66 percent to 10,65,856 units in October compared to 10,08,761 units sold during same month last year.

The total sales of two wheeler hiked 13.31 percent last month to 16,56,235 units as compared to 14,61,712 units in last year during the same month.
