DLF Limited, a renowned real estate developer, is gearing up to launch The Camellias 2, following the tremendous success of its super-luxury project, The Camellias.
Located on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase-5, Gurugram, The Camellias 2 has the potential to generate sales worth Rs 25,000 crore.
Ohri claims that The Camellias 2, also called Lux 5, will include opulent apartments and be a “by invitation only” complex. This means that buyers are only able to purchase apartments on this property via invitation and that the developer will do a background check on each buyer before closing the deal.
Situated on 17 acres of premium property in DLF Phase-5, the Camellias 2 project boasts a saleable area of about 5 million square feet.
Aakash Ohri, Joint MD and Chief Business Officer of DLF Home Developers Ltd said, “We are planning to launch the Lux5 or The Camellias 2 in DLF Phase 5 in the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25. The project will have around 420 super luxury apartments. We will launch and sale this project in two to three phases, which means that we may launch 50 odd apartments in the first phase and some in the second phase.”
According to him, the beginning size of an apartment in this project will be approximately 9,000 square feet, whereas in The Camellias, it is approximately 7,000 square feet. This project will also provide even more lavish amenities and larger residences.
Ohri added, “Some apartments of The Camellias 2 will have lake views and some will have a view of Arawali hills. The prices of these super-luxury residences are expected to be reasonably higher than The Magnolias and The Camellias.”
DLF is also introducing a second “by invitation” project in Goa, where 62 opulent villas will be constructed on a 38-acre hilltop with a view of the Mandavi River in Panjim. Construction on the DLF villa project is expected to start in August 2024.
“The ticket size here will be around Rs 40 crore to Rs 50 crore. Expected topline for this project is around Rs 2,500 crore,” Ohri said.
Just three days after opening, DLF announced this week that all 795 apartments in its new, lavish Gurugram property had been sold for a total of Rs 5,590 crore.
