On Monday Frankfurt-based, Deutsche Boerse AG has sold 2.67per cent stake in BSE Ltd. for an aggregating amount of Rs 66 crore via open market transactions.
As per the data on NSE, 2.67per cent of equity stake or 12 lakh shares of BSE Ltd. were sold by Deutsche Boerse AG, at an average price of Rs 549 per share amounting nearly around 65.88 crore.
Earlier before the recent transaction, Deutsche Boerse AG held 4.41per cent shares of the company. According to the latest shareholding pattern, Acacia Banyan Partners Ltd. had 1.74 per cent. Acacia Conservation Fund LP (Ruanne Cunniff) bought 5.07 lakh share at Rs 549 per share worth around Rs 27.83 crore, Ruanne Cunniff and Gold farb Inc A/C Acacia Institutional Partners LP had bought 2.92 lakh shares for Rs 549 per share amounting to Rs 16.03 crore and Acacia Banyan Partners (Ruanne Cunniff and Gold Farb Inc) bought 2.42 lakh shares at Rs 549 per share worth Rs 13.31 crore are various affiliates of Acacia among buyers.
On Monday, shares of BSE Ltd. gained 4.53 per cent, closed at Rs 553.85 on NSE, while Nifty 0.21 per cent down to close at 11,440.05 points.
