Delhi’s power regulator Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC), held an emergency meeting to address the crisis and relaxed discoms in power acquisitions due to increased rates. The DERC urged the Ministry of Power to interrupt and help supply fuel to the power plants to avoid any outages in Delhi. “Delhi can face a power outage. I am keeping a close eye on the situation. We are trying our best to avoid it. Meanwhile, I wrote a letter to Prime Minister asking his intervention,” Kejriwal tweeted.
