The Dabur India, in its exchange filing, has reported that the company’s Board has approved the resignation of its Chairman Amit Burman. This came into effect from the close of working hours of August 10, 2022. However, Amit Burman will continue to be the non-executive director of the company.
For a period of five years, Mohit Burman has been appointed as the non-executive chairman of the board of the company. He is currently the non-executive vice-chairman.
For the post of non-executive vice-chairman of the board of the directors, Saket Burman has been appointed. He is also appointed for a term of five years, starting from August 11.
As chairman of Dabur, Amit Burman had assumed charge in 2019. Last year, he had undergone a successful surgery for treating a case of aneurysm.
Headquartered in Ghaziabad, the company reported a flat consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended June 2022 at Rs 441 crore as compared to the year-ago period. Also, its consolidated revenue for the quarter increased 8% Y-o-Y to Rs 2.82 crore.
