Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar Picks up Undisclosed Stake in AZAD Engineering

The order has to be executed in a period of 5 years. 

According to a news statement issued by Hyderabad-based AZAD Engineering, a supplier of engineering and technology solutions for Global OEMs in the Clean Energy, Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, and SPS Industries, Cricket Legend Sachin Tendulkar has made an undisclosed strategic investment in the firm.

The firm stated that the investment would deepen its commitment to the Central government’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat programmes. These programmes seek to improve India’s worldwide status, revolutionise the Indian industrial sector, and exceed international norms.

Rakesh Chopdar, Founder and MD of AZAD Engineering, stated, “We are thrilled to have Sachin Tendulkar as an investor, and it is a tremendous honour for us.” He said the firm is dedicated to supporting highly complex manufacturing and self-sufficiency and will work hard to provide additional growth and innovation prospects for India.
