The Competition Commission of India has rejected the allegations that Wiley India has abused its dominant position by imposing unfair terms and conditions with regard to the subscription services on its agents.
It has been alleged that Wiley denied market access to the complainant and appointed its own subscription agents as authorised agents for distribution of its products.
In addition to this it was said that the firm directed its agents to offer a maximum discount of 3 percent to customers or else authorised agents would not accept order from unauthorised agents.
The complaint had been field by Prime Mag Subscription Services which is a subscription agent.
