GG Tronics India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., which is controlled by the Murugappa Group has secured a ‘KAVACH’ order from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, West Bengal, a division of the Indian government.
In its regulatory filing, the company said that the scope of the order includes supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH equipment, along with yearly maintenance for a duration of 11 years.
Comprehensive wiring, harnessing, cabling, and integration with the Loco KAVACH system are also included in the ordering scope.
The order is expected to be executed over the course of the next 12 months and has a value ranging from Rs 500 crore to Rs 600 crore.
Of the nine analysts covering CG Power, three recommend a “sell”, and six have a “buy” rating.
This Bengaluru-based company, GG Tronics Pvt. Ltd., specializes in designing, producing, delivering, and installing embedded electronic safety signaling systems for the railway transportation market.
It also offers Automatic Train Protection Systems (IRATPS), commonly known as KAVACH, as a vendor for development.
