Among the S&P BSE Capital Goods index components, Schaeffler India Ltd is up 1.4%, Siemens Ltd is up 5.57%, ABB India Ltd is up 1.48%, Timken India Ltd is up 2.94%, and AIA Engineering Ltd is up 2.65%.

Other top gainers were V-Guard Industries Ltd, up 1.34%, Larsen & Toubro Ltd, up 0.92%, Honeywell Automation India Ltd, up 1.11%, Bharat Electronics Ltd, up 0.8% and Praj Industries Ltd, up 0.89%.

Grindwell Norton Ltd was down 0.46%, Bharat Forge Ltd (down 0.36%) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 0.28%) moved lower.

In the morning trade, the S&P BSE Sensex goes up 31.75 or 0.05% at 62658.11. The Nifty50 fell 1.9 points or 0.01% to 18,640.85. The S&P BSE small-cap index rose 37.64 points or 0.13% to 29,927.48. The S&P BSE 150 midcap index climbed 13.77 points, or 0.15%, to 9,286.34.

Total 1723 shares were trading high, 1,079 were trading low, and 124 remained unchanged.
