On Thursday, Capital Goods stocks were trading in the green, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index rising by 1.75 per cent at 32044.49 in the morning trade.
All sectors stocks of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Bharat Forge Ltd up 8.32 per cent, Larsen & Toubro Ltd up 2.04 per cent, Graphite India Ltd up 5.22 per cent, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd up 2.5 per cent and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd up 1.77 per cent, Praj Industries Ltd up 1.64 per cent, Bharat Electronics Ltd up 1.18 per cent, AIA Engineering Ltd up 1.61 per cent, Honeywell Automation India Ltd up 1.24 per cent and Siemens Ltd up 1.44 per cent were top gainers.

However, Suzlon Energy Ltd was down 1.26 per cent, Grindwell Norton Ltd down 0.43 per cent and Timken India Ltd, down 0.56 per cent, hit a low. In the morning trade, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 244.42 or 0.42 per cent at 58309.89. The Nifty 50 index was up 84.5 points or 0.49 per cent. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 300.63 points or 1.05 per cent. The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 80.76 points or 0.91 per cent.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), 2242 shares were trading in the green, 617 were trading in red and 94 remained the same.
