The state owned telecom firm BSNL has reduced mobile call rates by up to 80 percent for the first two months under a scheme for new customers to speed up customer acquisition.
Anupam Shrivastava, the Chairman and Managing Director at BSNL said that “BSNL has revamped its infrastructure now. We have decided to cut mobile call rates by up to 80 percent for new customer so that they get experience of our revamped services.”
For both the per minute and per second billing plan, the call rates have been reduced and will be valid only for the first two months of a customer’s joining BSNL.
