In early trade on Monday, the benchmark BSE Sensex dipped the 28,000 mark as funds and investors have indulged in reducing exposures amid weak cues from other Asian markets on account of rejection by the Greek voters for more austerity demands from creditors.
On a similar way, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty also slipped below the 8,400 mark.
All sectoral indices, oil & gas, FMCG, realty and healthcare were trading in the negative zone, fell up to 1.32 percent.
