Bosch India, leading technology and services provider, and PTV Group, a leader in mobility and logistics software, have announced a partnership to drive the future of connected mobility in India.

As part of this collaboration, the partners will execute their shared vision of building innovative digital solutions for a sustainable, environmentally friendly and green future.

In response to the country’s rapid urbanisation and growing demand for transport infrastructure and services, Bosch India is building digital platforms that enable businesses in the connected mobility ecosystem to work together to create a safe and sustainable tomorrow. Mobility Marketplace will enable Bosch India to shape sustainable smart mobility and logistics solutions for different players across the industry through APIs, data, software, services and hardware under one umbrella. OEMs, shared mobility providers, logistics service companies and other entities in the Bosch mobility market can now use mobility and logistics solutions from the PTV Group.

PTV Group will bring more than 40 years of experience in intelligent traffic management software, intermodal planning and optimising logistics processes powered by APIs and tools such as PTV Developer, Vissim, Visum, Optima, and more. Apart from this alliance, Bosch India and PTV Group will also explore synergies and new horizons, such as a joint listing of government projects.

The partners are also linked through other close partnerships. The two companies have been collaborating since 2021 to improve urban air quality further and reduce traffic-related emissions. Integrating accurate emissions data from Bosch into the traffic simulation tool PTV Vissim enables planners to quickly assess the impact of planned traffic measures on vehicle emissions.
